Project of the Month: Land of Liberty

Okay, I know it’s one day late but here is Embroidery Central’s Project of the Month, Land of Liberty designed by Miles to Go, selected by local Stitcher Carrie Dabb. Here is an image of how she stitched it.

As you can see, Carrie used a different fabric. I don’t know what else she changed but if you are interested just let me know and I will find out.  Now, this POM comes with the pattern and I believe the fabric; although, I am not positive on that. However, that is generally how most of their POM’s work. Sometimes it’s your choice and sometimes it’s not.

What I do know is that this particular POM is only $19.99 during June only. After that, the price goes up to $23.99.  It’s a great little project to stitch to celebrate the Fourth of July here in the states. In order to purchase this POM from Embroidery Central click here, Land of Liberty.

Happy Stitching!

Project of the Month: The Little Stitching Fairy

The Little Stitcher by Joan Elliott

The Little Stitcher by Joan Elliott

For May, Embroidery Central has chosen a design from the one and only Joan Elliott called The Little Stitcher. It costs $32.99 and comes with your choice of hand dyed fabric. The price is for the pattern and fabric only but while you are ordering this why not order the threads too so you can get started right away.

Now, if you have a mom or grandma who stitch, this would be an awesome gift to send to them for Mother’s Day. That is a great big hint to my children and husband.

Don’t forget that Embroidery Central still has their Spring Cleaning sale going on with up to 80% off of patterns. You can buy the POM and grab a few more goodies to go into your stash. Happy Stitching!

Project of the Month: Up, Up and Away by Country Cottage

Embroidery Central has been doing Projects of the Month (POM) for the last year or so.  Last year they let some of us in the stitch group pick out projects for this year. Of course, we had to spend a certain amount of money on double punch day and fill out pieces of paper for a drawing.

I believe this months project was picked by mom who typically beads everything and this time was no exception. This months project of the month is ‘Up, Up and Away’ designed by Country Cottage.  The kit is $21 (normally $27) for this month only and includes a pattern and 13 x 14 piece of hand dyed fabric you can get it here.

This is how my mom stitched and framed it:
