I know it’s Thursday not Wednesday but here is my WIP anyway. If I could stick out my tongue, I would. Sorry, I have been babysitting, doing a convention, and trying to find my lost stitch bug. If you find it, please return it to me. I have tons of projects to stitch but no ambition.
Anyway, I didn’t get to do much stitching this week. I did like ten stitches on this little cutie.
And, there is a story behind this project. I’m broke, I have no money to buy supplies; unless, I save up pennies. A few months ago, I had some extra cash left over from some lunch money. I did what all of us crafters and readers do, I went shopping.
I only had $5.00 and planned to get a book or two so I stopped by Somebody’s Attic. I found a couple of books but decided to check out their little craft section. Low and behold, this project was in a bag with all of the threads and fabric needed to complete the stitching for $0.75. The fabric was even in its own bag with a label from Shepherd’s Bush Ogden, Utah.
My point is this, second hand stores often have hidden treasure with in their walls. You just have to take the time to do a little searching.
